Maribel Zapien

Maribel Zapien started their work experience in 2014. Maribel worked as a Client Services Representative at Legends Marketing Group from January 2014 to February 2014, where they were responsible for face-to-face sales and customer interaction. Maribel then worked as an Inbound Sales Representative at Spectrum (formerly Time Warner Cable) from March 2014 to May 2014, handling inbound calls and providing excellent customer service.

Maribel joined Heritage Auctions in June 2014 and held multiple roles during their tenure. From June 2014 to November 2016, they worked as a Client Services Representative, assisting customers and promoting products. Maribel then became the Training and Development Manager from November 2016 to August 2019, responsible for training and developing the team. From August 2019 to January 2021, Maribel worked as a UX Designer, and they currently hold the position of Director of Design at Heritage Auctions starting from January 2021.

Maribel Zapien completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Animal Science from California State University, Chico from 2009 to 2013. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including "UX Management: Strategy and Tactics" from The Interaction Design Foundation in May 2020, "Developing Your Emotional Intelligence" from LinkedIn in December 2019, "Human-Computer Interaction - HCI" from The Interaction Design Foundation in October 2019, "User Experience: The Beginner's Guide" from Interaction Design Foundation (IDF) in August 2019, and "Design Thinking: The Beginner's Guide" from The Interaction Design Foundation in July 2019.
