Joan Bassey

Joan Bassey has a diverse work experience within the banking industry. Joan started their career at Union Bank of Nigeria in 2009, where they held various positions including Business Development Officer and Chief Marketing Officer. In 2016, they joined Heritage Bank Plc, initially working as a Client Acquisition Manager before being promoted to Team Lead in the Fintech Partnerships division. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Fintech Integration at Heritage Bank Plc. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated skills in business development, team management, and strategic planning.

Joan Bassey pursued their education with a focus on business and finance. From 2013 to 2015, they attended Obafemi Awolowo University and obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration (Finance Option).

In addition to their formal education, Joan Bassey also obtained certifications to enhance their professional skills. In August 2020, they completed the "Become a Digital Marketing Specialist" certification from LinkedIn. Joan also completed the "Become a Project Manager" certification, also from LinkedIn, in the same month and year.
