Dermot Cavanagh

Dermot Cavanagh has a diverse work experience. Dermot started their career as an Operations Analyst at State Street in March 2014 and worked there until June 2015. After that, they joined CQS as an Operations Analyst and worked there from July 2015 to March 2017. From April 2017 to March 2019, they worked at Federated Hermes Limited as an Assistant Manager. Dermot was then promoted to the role of Manager from April 2019 to March 2020. Dermot continued their growth at Federated Hermes Limited, working as an Associate Director from April 2020 to March 2023. Dermot then took on the role of Director - Distribution Strategy and Management for a brief period from April 2023 to September 2023. Currently, Dermot is working as the Head of BD Business Management at Federated Hermes Limited, a position they have held since October 2023.

Dermot Cavanagh has a diverse education history. Dermot completed their Leaving Certificate at Cistercian College Roscrea in 2008. Afterwards, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) with German at University College Dublin from 2008 to 2012. During the academic year 2010-2011, Dermot studied International Business as an Erasmus student at Universität Regensburg. Dermot then attended UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School from 2012 to 2013, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Strategic Management. In 2015, they undertook the CFA Level 1 course at the CFA Institute.
