Propulsion Systems Lead at Hermeus

Jordan Fisher has worked in a variety of roles in the aerospace industry over the past few years. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Propulsion Engineer for Hermeus. Prior to that, they held the same role at Generation Orbit from 2020. In 2019, they were a Visiting Researcher at NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration. In 2017, they were an Laser Diagnostics Intern at SPECTRAL ENERGIES, LLC. In 2016, they were a Test Engineering Intern at SpaceX and a Research Assistant at Zucrow Laboratories. In 2015, they were a Student Researcher at the Center for Flow Physics and Control and a Quality Control Intern at Sandia National Laboratories.

Jordan Fisher attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering. Jordan then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering at Purdue University, which they are currently enrolled in.
