Thomas Burkett

Thomas Burkett has a diverse work experience spanning over 16 years. Thomas started their career as an Accounting Intern at IDL in 2005. Thomas then worked as a Property Accountant at Alcoa before joining Cottrill, Arbutina & Associates as a Staff Accountant in 2006. Burkett later joined the Florida Department of Financial Services as a Sales Tax Auditor II.

In 2007, they joined Sheltair, where they served as a Financial Accounting Manager and later as a Strategic Planning Manager. Burkett then transitioned to Port Consolidated as a Controller in 2015. Thomas joined Golden Sands General Contractors, Inc. in 2016, initially as a Corporate Controller and later as the Director of Finance.

Their most recent role is at Hernandez Construction, where they hold the position of Sr. Vice President - Finance since July 2021.

Thomas Burkett completed their Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Robert Morris University from 2002 to 2005. Thomas then pursued a Masters of Accountancy at Nova Southeastern University from 2011 to 2013.
