Jim Purves

Jim Purves has had a diverse range of roles throughout their career. Jim started as a Management Consultant at Andersen Consulting from 1997 to 2000. Jim then worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Axis Media Group from 2000 to 2003. Following this, they became the Head of Digital Products at the E Delivery Team, Office of the E Envoy from 2003 to 2010. Jim then joined Experian as the Head of Identity Solutions from 2010 to 2012. Jim later worked at VisualDNA, holding various positions such as Chief Product Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Interim CEO from 2012 to 2015. Since 2015, Jim has been associated with Heroic Labs, starting as an Advisor and currently serving as the Vice President of Operations. In addition, they have also worked as an Independent Consultant, providing technology and business consulting services since 2016.

Jim Purves has a strong educational background in engineering and design. From 1991 to 1995, they attended the University of Exeter, where they obtained a first-class degree in Mechanical Engineering. Jim furthered their education by attending the University of Cambridge from 1995 to 1996, where they pursued a degree in Engineering, Design, and Management, obtaining an ACDMM qualification.

In addition to their formal education, Jim Purves has acquired several certifications. In January 2023, they completed the "2D Game Design and Development Essential Training" and "Game Design Foundations: 1 Ideas, Core Loops, and Goals" courses from LinkedIn. Jim also accomplished the "Game Design Foundations: 3 Pitch, Propose, and Practice" course from the same platform. Furthermore, Jim obtained the "Nakama Developer Training" certification from Heroic Labs in January 2023.
