Brian Moran

Brian Moran has an extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Brian started their career as an RN at The George Washington University Hospital in 1998 and worked there until 2003. Brian then joined InterMune as a Clinical Specialist from 2003 to 2005. Following that, they worked at CoTherix as a Regional Scientific Director from 2005 to 2006. Brian then worked at Gilead Sciences as a Therapeutic Specialist from 2006 to 2008. Brian joined Inova Health System as a Clinical Manager, overseeing Transplant and Advanced Disease Management Programs from 2008 to 2010. Brian has also worked at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals as a Medical Science Liaison from 2010 to 2013, and later as a Regional MSL Director for the East Team from 2013 to 2015. Brian then worked at Otonomy, Inc as a Medical Science Liaison from 2015 to 2017. Most recently, they have held positions at Aegerion Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Medical Science Liaison from 2017 to 2018, and is currently working at Heron Therapeutics, Inc as the National Director of Medical Science Liaisons since 2018.

Brian Moran received their Associate of Science degree in Environmental Engineering Technology/Environmental Technology from the Community College of the Air Force in 1993. Brian then attended UMass Boston from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. In 2020, Brian enrolled at Boston College and is expected to complete their Master of Healthcare Administration degree by 2022.
