Erica Botha has over 15 years of work experience in the field of Learning and Development. Erica is currently the Head of Learning and Development at Herotel, where they oversee the training and development programs for the company. Erica joined Herotel in 2017 and has been instrumental in the company's goal of connecting all South Africans to faster and more affordable internet. Prior to their role at Herotel, Erica owned their own business, Intertrain Consulting, from 2009 to 2017. At Intertrain Consulting, they gained valuable experience in running a business and providing consulting services. Before that, they worked at Isizwe as the Head of Training and Development from 2015 to 2017. Erica's work experience also includes a role as an Accreditation and Learning Specialist at Sparrow Consulting Industrial and Research Consultants from 2005 to 2009.

Erica Botha has a diverse education history that spans over multiple years. In 2000, they attended the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Science. Erica'sfield of study during this period was Information Science/Studies. In 2020, they obtained certification as a Certified 360-Degree Coach from The Leadership Circle, specializing in Organizational Leadership Coaching. In 2021, they attended a short course in Executive Leadership at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Finally, in 2022, Erica completed a short course in Executive and Management Coaching from the University of Cape Town, focusing on Organizational Leadership.
