Nicholas Harris is currently an Environmental Data Scientist at Herrera Environmental Consultants. Prior to this, they worked as a Research & Monitoring Specialist and then a Research & Monitoring Technician at the Palouse Conservation District from February 2019 to January 2022. In their role at the Palouse Conservation District, Nicholas was responsible for managing and analyzing data collected across the Palouse River Watershed to assess the effectiveness of conservation practices on natural resource systems, developing web-based applications to showcase environmental data, and creating web-based tools for landowners to view soil health parameters collected by Palouse CD. Nicholas also performed watershed modeling and analysis on multiple watersheds across the Palouse River Watershed.

Nicholas Harris has a degree in Environmental and Ecosystem Sciences from Washington State University, and a Water Resources Science and Management Certificate from the same school. Nicholas is also certified as a Smartsheet Product Certified User.
