Regina Lionheart is a Coastal Scientist at Herrera Environmental Consultants since January 2023, focusing on shoreline resilience and data analytics. Previously, Regina served as a Research Scientist at the University of Washington from April 2019 to January 2023, specializing in environmental data analysis of marine microbial communities, utilizing R for data processing pipelines. Regina's earlier experience includes a Graduate Student position at the University of Haifa in 2018, working under Dr. Yoav Lehahn in the CROSSMAR lab on interdisciplinary oceanographical data integration, and as a Research Assistant in the University of Washington Department of Oceanography from May 2015 to November 2017, where responsibilities included dataset interpretation and research on cobalamin symbiosis in pelagic ecosystems. Regina holds a Bachelor of Science in Oceanography from the University of Washington, complemented by studies in Music Business at DePaul University.
