Jake Lockwood

Jake Lockwood is an accomplished show director, writer, and actor with extensive experience in the entertainment industry, particularly within the theme park sector. Since June 2022, Jake has served as a show director and writer for Princess Cruises, following a long-standing freelance role at Walt Disney World that began in May 1992. Jake's impressive history includes over 18,000 performances in numerous shows at Walt Disney World, hosting notable events like "Star Wars Weekends" and contributions to the Show Writer's Bench for Walt Disney World Entertainment. Additional roles encompass freelance writing for Herschend Family Entertainment, serving as an artistic consultant for The Zoot Theatre Company, and acting and directing for The Human Race Theatre Company. Jake has also collaborated with Walt Disney Imagineering and Universal Studios, providing creative consultation and scriptwriting. Educational credentials include a degree from Wright State University, earned between 1986 and 1991.
