Crystal Lezama

Crystal Lezama, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Crystal is currently serving as the Director of Sales & Marketing for HHM Hotels at the Moxy Miami South Beach. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Sales & Marketing for HVMG - Hospitality Ventures Management Group at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Pompano Beach Resort & Spa.

Crystal also had a role on the Board of Directors for the Greater Pompano Beach, Margate & Lighthouse Point Chamber of Commerce from August 2019 to July 2022.

Crystal previously held the position of Director of Sales & Marketing for Urgo Hotels and Resorts at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Pompano Beach Resort & Spa from August 2019 to November 2021.

Before these roles, Crystal gained experience as the Director of Sales at Twenty Four Seven Hotels at the Courtyard by Marriott Sacramento Midtown from July 2018 to August 2019.

Earlier in their career, Crystal held various positions at Urgo Hotels and Resorts and Marriott International. Crystal worked as a Sales Manager at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Pompano Beach Resort & Spa and as a Spa Manager.

Their experience at Marriott International includes roles in sales and at the Front Desk of the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa.

Prior to their hospitality career, Crystal worked in retail as a Store Manager for Caribbean Surf Company, overseeing three locations. Crystal began their career as an Assistant Store Manager with the same company.

Crystal Lezama, MBA obtained their Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of the Virgin Islands, studying from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing, as well as an Associate's Degree in Business Management, both also from the University of the Virgin Islands, from 2002 to 2006.

In addition to their academic achievements, Crystal Lezama has obtained several certifications. In 2019, they earned the "Leader of the Month" certification from Twenty Four Seven Hotels. Crystal was also recognized as the "2017 Leader of the Year @ Fort Lauderdale Marriott Pompano Beach Resort & Spa" by Urgo Hotels and Resorts. Additionally, they received the title of "2017 Q2 Leader of the Quarter @ Fort Lauderdale Marriott Pompano Beach Resort & Spa" from the same institution. In 2012, Crystal Lezama was acknowledged as the "CI/TY Reporting Rockstar of the Year 2012 – South Region" by Marriott International.
