Jimena Lautenslager

Jimena Lautenslager has extensive experience in human resources, with their most recent role being the Director of People Support at Hersha Hospitality Management since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Human Resources at Evolution Hospitality from May 2019 to May 2020 and as the Director of Human Resources at Pyramid Global Hospitality from July 2017 to May 2019. Jimena also served as the Human Resources Manager at Family Physicians Group from March 2015 to July 2017 and held various HR roles at Pyramid Hotel Group, including Assistant Director of Human Resources, Human Resources Manager, Human Resources Generalist, and Human Resources Benefits Coordinator, from August 2006 to March 2015.

Jimena Lautenslager, PHR, SHRM-CP, holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management- Human Resources Path, obtained from the University of Central Florida in 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Associates Degree in Human Resources at Valencia College from 2005 to 2008. In 2002, Jimena received a Diploma in Tourism from Cenfotur. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's degree in Human Resources Management and Services from the University of Central Florida, expected to be completed in 2023. In terms of certifications, Jimena is a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) since 2015 and holds a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education (obtained in 2021). Jimena also completed the HR as a Business Partner course on LinkedIn in 2020. Additionally, they are a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certified by HRCI.
