Sally Hopper is an experienced Human Resources professional currently serving as the Human Resources Director at Hertfordshire County Council, a position held since July 2016. Prior to this role, Sally was the Head of HR at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park from March 2013 to July 2016 and also spent over four years as the Head of Human Resources for The Scout Association, where the focus was on supporting youth development through volunteer engagement. Earlier career experience includes serving as Resources Manager for the City of London Corporation, managing diverse teams and various operational aspects in a unionised setting. Sally Hopper is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree at the University of Hertfordshire, with a research focus on Rethinking Organisational Change, following a Master of Science in Strategic Human Resource Management from Nottingham University Business School and earlier CIPD qualifications.
