Jaimy de Schepper is a PhD candidate at Het Waterlaboratorium, focusing on the use of effect-based tools for monitoring water quality and the relationship between biological responses and anthropogenic substances since May 2022. Jaimy is also affiliated with VU Amsterdam as a PhD candidate in the Amsterdam Institute for Life and Environment (A-LIFE) since July 2023. Previous experience includes a master's research project on the impact of PFAS in Dutch waters, involving in vitro assays and chemical analysis, and a master's literature thesis on chemometrics-driven detection of organophosphate agents. Educational background includes a Master's in Analytical Sciences from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor's in Chemistry from HZ University of Applied Sciences.
