Shanne Stines

Shanne Stines is currently a PhD candidate at Carleton University, with a robust background in architecture spanning several years across various roles. Prior experience includes working as a Design Professional at HOK from May 2022 to August 2025 and as an Intern Architect at Kleinfeldt Mychajlowycz Architects Inc. from March 2020 to May 2022. Stines has also contributed as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Waterloo, both in 2019. Previous roles include Junior Architect at Moriyama + Teshima, Architectural Intern at Heitler Houstoun Architects, Architecture Intern at Taylor Hazell Architects, and Junior Designer at Scotiabank. Stines began the architectural career as an Interior Renovator for the Region of Peel, focusing on senior public housing. Stines holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Waterloo, completed in 2020, and a Bachelor of Architectural Studies from the same institution, awarded in 2018.
