Elena Cacchillo possesses a strong background in chemistry and research, having served as a teaching assistant in organic and general chemistry laboratories at Washington University in St. Louis from August 2019 to May 2022 under esteemed professors such as Dr. Maria de la Cruz and Dr. Alison Redden Wessels. Additionally, Elena engaged in undergraduate research focusing on bioorganic and nucleic acids chemistry with Dr. John-Stephen Taylor and immunology with Dr. Katherine L. During a brief stint at MediBeacon Inc. in mid-2020, Elena contributed as a research scientist and organic chemistry intern.
