Reno Bowen

Reno Bowen is an experienced software engineer and engineering lead with a strong background in developing and maintaining software solutions across multiple high-profile companies. Currently serving as Engineering Lead at Hex since May 2021, Reno previously worked at YouTube as a Senior Software Engineer from October 2019 to April 2021 and held multiple roles during an extensive tenure at Google from July 2014 to October 2019, which included positions at Nest Labs and Dropcam. Earlier experience includes a software engineering role at TuneIn focused on content discovery features, an internship at Yelp analyzing user engagement metrics, and collaborative work on neuroimaging data management systems at Stanford University, where Reno also obtained both a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Arts in Psychology. Additionally, undergraduate studies in Psychology and Cognitive Science were completed at UC Irvine.
