Charles Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Charles started their career in 1994 as an Employment Representative at Levi Strauss & Co. In 1994, they also worked at The Good Guys as a Sr. Recruitment Coordinator and later as a Recruitment Manager and Manager of Recruitment & Staffing. From 1997 to 2003, Charles worked at The Clorox Company in various HR roles, including HR Client Manager and HR Client Manager for Corporate Finance and Information Services. Charles'sresponsibilities included providing strategic HR support to senior executives and managing employee relations in various manufacturing divisions. Since 2011, Charles has been with Hexcel Corporation, initially as a Director of Human Resources for the Americas and later promoted to the role of Vice President of Human Resources for the Americas. In this role, they partnered with key business leaders, managed employee and union relations, and coached and developed the HR team.
Charles Smith obtained their H.S. Diploma from Berkeley High School in 1980. Charles then pursued an A.S. in Computer Electronics Technology from Samuel Merritt University from 1980 to 1982. Later on, they earned a B.S. in Industrial Technology from San Jose State University between 1982 and 1985. Finally, Charles completed a Certificate program in Collective Bargaining & Contract Administration at Cornell University from 1998 to 2002.
