Clayton Reeves, CFA has a diverse work experience. Clayton started their career as an Adjunct Finance Instructor at the University of Missouri, where they taught undergraduate and graduate Finance coursework. Clayton then worked as an Analyst in Investor Relations and Financial Reporting at Cerner, where they gained experience in data querying, investor relations, and databases. Clayton also worked as an Analyst in Corporate Development at Lansing Trade Group, a physical commodity trading company, where they had exposure to the C-suite and dealt with high-pressure situations. Clayton later joined CCCA as an Analyst in Investment Banking, participating in buy-side and sell-side processes and networking with C-level executives. Clayton then took on the role of Manager in Venture Capital and Strategy at Evergy Ventures, where they helped create and acquire funding for a $150M corporate venture capital fund. Clayton also worked as Founder and CEO of several startup eCommerce businesses, where they developed business strategies, managed product fulfillment, and achieved significant revenue growth. Clayton joined Summit Utilities as a Senior Financial Analyst, working closely with the risk committee and executive team to guide company strategy and acquisitions. Clayton then held roles at Uplight, first as Manager in Corporate Development and Strategic Planning and then as Director of Finance and Corporate Development, working on projects related to M&A, R&D capacity modeling, and overall strategy. Most recently, Clayton worked as Vice President of Finance and Strategy at Folio Photonics, providing support across various functions and gaining new skills outside of their finance-focused expertise. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Finance at Hexure. Throughout their career, Clayton has demonstrated a strong skill set in finance, strategy, and leadership.

Clayton Reeves, CFA holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Clayton also earned dual Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degrees, with a focus on both Finance and Economics from the same institution. Additionally, Reeves has obtained the prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder certification from the CFA Institute.
