Rose Markowitz

Rose Markowitz is a skilled Registered Nurse with extensive experience in various healthcare settings, including Hey Jane since March 2022, Planned Parenthood of New York City, Inc. from January 2019 to January 2021, and New York-Presbyterian Hospital in the Medsurg Neurology Unit from June 2018 to January 2019. Prior to nursing, Rose provided childcare for various families from November 2008 to December 2018, focusing on neurodivergent children and adolescents. Additionally, Rose worked as a self-employed Doula and Birth Assistant from February 2016 to December 2017, and assisted a private client with care coordination for an individual with Cerebral Palsy from 2015 to 2016. Rose holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Long Island University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature - Creative Writing from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
