Russell Gray

Russell Gray has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Russell is currently working as the Head of Legal at Heyday since August 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Associate General Counsel, Legal & Compliance at Heyday from January 2023 to August 2023. Russell also served as the Senior Director of M&A, Strategic and Commercial Transactions at Heyday from November 2022 to January 2023. Before joining Heyday, Russell worked as a Legal Counsel, M&A, and Corporate Governance at Whirlpool Corporation from November 2019 to August 2021. Russell began their career as an Associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP from September 2015 to November 2019. Russell also worked as a PILI Fellow at the Legal Assistance Foundation of Chicago in 2015. Russell graduated from The Ohio State Moritz College of Law in 2015, where they served as a Student. Russell also gained experience as a Summer Associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in 2014. Earlier in their career, Russell worked as a Research Assistant for professors at The Ohio State University in 2013 and as a Law Clerk at Silverman, Tokarsky, Forman & Hill, LLC in 2011. Russell started their career as an intern for Pennsylvania State Representative Frank Burns in 2009. Additionally, Russell is a Deputy GC Member at TechGC since September 2021.

Russell Gray completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Juniata College from 2009 to 2012. Russell continued their education at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law from 2012 to 2015, earning a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
