Amanda Michel

Amanda Michel has a strong background in environmental science, currently serving as Scientist III at HydroGeoLogic, Inc. since August 2020, where previous roles included Associate Environmental Scientist and Assistant Environmental Scientist. Prior experience includes working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Aquatic Entomology Lab at Virginia Tech from January 2019 to August 2020 and an internship at Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc. in the summer of 2019. Amanda's career began at Stafford Parks and Recreation as a Facility Attendant from August 2015 to August 2016. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Biological Sciences from Virginia Tech and is pursuing a Master of Science in Environmental Science and Policy at The Johns Hopkins University, expected to complete in May 2024.
