Sasha Vera-Fok, PE has extensive work experience in the field of structural engineering. In 2013, Sasha worked as an Office Services & Imaging Clerk at NY Compensation Insurance Rating Board, where they processed project files and directed inquiries to the appropriate departments. They then joined MTA NYC Transit in 2014 as a College Aide, inspecting concrete and steel structures on construction sites and analyzing field data on expansion joints. At UrbanTech Consulting Engineering, PC, Sasha worked as a Structural Engineer from 2015 to 2021, contributing their expertise in structural engineering. Currently, they are employed as a Structural Engineer at Hardesty & Hanover, LLC, where they continue to apply their skills and knowledge in the field.

Sasha Vera-Fok, PE completed their education in a chronological order. They first attended the Escuela Argentina de Nueva York from 2001 to 2011, where they obtained a high school diploma. Following that, they attended Brooklyn Technical High School from 2007 to 2011, where they earned an Advanced Regents High School Diploma. Next, Sasha attended The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art from 2011 to 2015, obtaining a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Civil Engineering. Finally, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil Engineering at Columbia University, which they completed in 2018. Additionally, Sasha holds several certifications including the MTA NYC Transit Track Safety Certification from MTA NYC Transit, the OSHA-10 certification from the US DEPARTMENT OF LABOR OSHA, the OSHA-30 certification from the US DEPARTMENT OF LABOR OSHA, and the Professional Engineer (PE) designation from NCEES.
