Andreas Betz

Andreas Betz has a diverse work experience working in different roles and companies. Andreas began their career with an internship at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in 2013. Later, they worked as an environmental protection intern in passenger transportation for Deutsche Bahn in 2014. Betz then worked as a working student for Tesla Motors in 2014 and Siemens from 2015 to 2017. Andreas completed their master's thesis on resource and energy efficiency for Siemens. In 2017, they joined innogy Consulting GmbH as a consultant and was promoted to Senior Consultant in 2019. Betz worked as the Head of Secretariat for the South African-German Energy Partnership Company name at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH from 2020 to 2022. Andreas is currently working as a Senior Operations Manager for HH2E since 2023.

Andreas Betz received their Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental Science from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 2013. In 2011 and 2012, they participated in an Erasmus exchange program at Aix-Marseille University where they studied Environmental Science. Andreas went on to pursue a Master of Science in Business Administration and Management at the Technical University of Munich, graduating in 2016. Andreas also holds certification as a Certified SCRUM Master from Scrum Alliance.
