Prof. Dr. Stephan Stubner

Prof. Dr. Stephan (Thor) Stubner serves as the Academic Director and Patron of the HHL Entrepreneurship Master at HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management since 2007, focused on nurturing students without management backgrounds into successful entrepreneurs. As the Porsche AG Chair of Strategic Management and Digital Entrepreneurship, Stubner emphasizes people-centered teaching and research at the intersection of entrepreneurship and strategy. Past leadership roles include dean and president of HHL, where Stubner significantly increased funding and visibility for the institution. Additional commitments include being a founding member of KFLT Angels, managing partner at Monkfish Equity, and co-hosting the Pan-European Startup Competition StageTwo. Stubner's academic involvement extends to advisory roles at CODE University of Applied Sciences, Smart Infrastructure Ventures, and SpinLab - The HHL Accelerator, among others. Stubner holds a Master of Science in General Management from HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management.
