Susanna Bird

Susanna Bird has a diverse work experience spanning from 2007 to the present. Susanna currently holds the position of Director of Business Development at HHS Technology Group since September 2020. Prior to that, they worked at CivicActions from 2016 to 2020, where they held multiple roles including Business Development, Strategy, Sales, and Operations, as well as Agile Project Manager. From 2013 to 2016, they worked at CGI as a Project Management and Enterprise Release Manager, and as a Change Control Management Analyst. Susanna started their career in 2007 as a Technical Student Assistant at the California State Water Resources Control Board and has also held positions at Deloitte Consulting as a Business Analyst and HTML/CSS Developer, and at the University of California, Santa Cruz as a Hydrology Lab and Field Technician and CalTeach Intern. Additionally, they worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at the National Science Foundation in 2008.

Susanna Bird graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Environmental Chemistry. Prior to that, they attended Sacramento City College from 2006 to 2009, where they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Chemistry and another Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Mathematics. In addition to their academic achievements, Susanna has also obtained several certifications. In December 2016, they became a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and obtained the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) designation from the Scrum Alliance. In July 2016, they also earned the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
