David Schisla

David Schisla has a wealth of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. David is currently the Vice President - CMC at HI-Bio since November 2022. Previously, they worked at Exelixis as the Vice President - Biologics CMC Development and Manufacturing from February 2021 to October 2022. Prior to that, they held various roles at Parvus Therapeutics Inc, including Senior Vice President - Technical Operations from November 2019 to February 2021, and Vice President - Process Sciences and Manufacturing from September 2017 to November 2019. David also worked at AbbVie - Biopharmaceuticals as the Director - CMC Program Management from June 2011 to September 2017. Before joining AbbVie, they held positions at Abbott Laboratories - Biopharmaceuticals, including Director - Humira Manufacturing Program Management from May 2009 to May 2011, Director - Process Engineering and Development from February 2007 to April 2009, and Department Manager - Process Engineering from November 2002 to January 2007. Prior to their work at Abbott, David worked at Shell Chemical Company and KRATON Polymers LLC as Department Manager - Process Research & Development from August 2000 to October 2002. David also worked at Shell Chemical Company as Global Project Leader - New Technology Development from February 1998 to June 2000 and as a Process Research and Development Engineer from December 1990 to January 1998.

David Schisla earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1984 to 1986. David then pursued further education and received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota from 1986 to 1990.
