Brandon Lindsay

Brandon Lindsay has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology and security. Brandon is currently working as the Director of Information Security at HIAS since June 2023. Prior to this, Brandon worked as a Solutions Architect at SpliceNet Consulting from September 2022 to June 2023, where they were responsible for architecting solutions, designing and deploying Azure and Office365, and providing security consulting services.

From 2019 to 2022, Brandon was employed at Great American Insurance Group, where they held the role of Enterprise Monitoring | Command Center | IT Security Operations. In this position, they implemented and supported monitoring tools, collaborated with cross-functional teams to design monitoring solutions, managed large-scale infrastructure migrations, and conducted incident management.

Before joining Great American Insurance Group, Brandon pursued their Master's in Information Technology from the School of Information Technology at the University of Cincinnati. During this time, they gained expertise in infrastructure and cybersecurity, achieving a GPA of 3.93. Brandon also managed research projects and developed an android language learning app.

Prior to their educational pursuits, Brandon worked as a Systems Engineer and Field Engineer at Network Technology Services from 2013 to 2017. Brandon also served as a Technology Specialist at Issaquah School District in 2012 and as a Veterans Service Representative Assistant at Bellevue College from 2010 to 2012.

In 2005, Brandon began their career in the United States Marine Corps, where they held various roles, including Medical Platoon Section Leader, HQ Company Police Sergeant, and Combined Anti Armor Team/Mobile Assault Platoon NCO.

Brandon Lindsay has an education history that includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business, which they obtained from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Technology from the University of Cincinnati between 2017 and 2019. During their time at the University of Cincinnati, they also completed a Graduate Certificate in Data Analytics from the Carl H. Lindner College of Business, from 2018 to 2019.

Before pursuing their master's degrees, Brandon Lindsay obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Applied Technology from Eastern Washington University, where they studied from 2012 to 2014.

In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Watchguard System Essentials certification from WatchGuard Technologies in February 2016. Brandon also earned the Xirrus Certified Wireless Professional certification from Xirrus in May 2015. Most recently, in January 2020, they obtained the Silver Peak SDWAN Professional certification from Silver Peak.
