Pol Klein

Pol Klein has extensive experience in creative and design leadership roles within the non-profit sector. Currently, they are the Senior Director of Creative at HIAS, where they oversee the creative services department for global marketing and communications. Prior to this, Pol served as the Associate Director of Design & UX at the International Rescue Committee, where they led a team of designers and contractors in crafting brand-edge events and campaigns. They also worked as the Head of Design at Population Services International, leading the internal creative service and providing leadership for the organization's brand and campaigns.

Before their roles in non-profits, Pol worked as an Art Director and Lead Designer at Graphicacy, and as the Art and Innovation Director at Beyond 3, Inc. They also served as the Creative Director at Palladium: Make It Possible, leading creative projects and developing communication products for government officials and donors. Pol's experience also includes working as the Director of Graphic & Web Programs at Boston University Center for Digital Imaging Arts (CDIA), and as the Principle at NEU14, where they provided design leadership and web development services for non-profit organizations. Prior to that, Pol served as the Director of Economic Development at Mercy Corps and as the Director of Trade & Competitiveness at The Services Group, where they led teams and provided technical support for economic development projects.

Pol Klein's education history includes multiple degrees and certifications. In 1996-1997, they attended Harvard University and obtained a Master's degree in Public Administration (MPA) with a focus on International Economics. In 2008-2009, they enrolled in the Center for Digital Imaging Arts at Boston University, where they earned a Certificate in Graphic & Web Design.

Other educational experiences include pursuing a degree in Communications Engineering (MSEE) at Rutgers University and studying Computer & Software Engineering as an undergraduate at the University of Vermont. However, the specific years of enrollment for these two degrees are unknown.

In addition to formal degrees, Pol Klein has acquired various certifications. Pol obtained an Advanced Certified Autism Specialist certification from the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES) in November 2022. In December 2021, they completed the Great Managers Program offered by Population Services International. Pol also holds a Certificate in Professional Life Coaching from the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts, which they obtained in June 2016.

Furthermore, they obtained a Certificate in Graphic & Web Design from Boston University's Center for Digital Imaging Arts in May 2009. In September 2008, they completed Reiki II training at the GW Center for Integrative Medicine. Lastly, Pol Klein earned a degree in Spiritual Psychology (MSP) from the University of Santa Monica; however, the dates of enrollment for this program are unknown.
