Shakira Dale

Shakira Dale is a web developer who has been working in the field for over 7 years. Shakira started their career as an associate web producer at Global Association of Risk Professionals, where they assisted in the development and implementation of website projects, including design, development, and maintenance phases. Shakira also assisted the UX team in building the pages and functionality for the new garp.org website that launched in 2015. In the front-end, AngularJS and Bootstrap were the main tools used to build this project.

After leaving Global Association of Risk Professionals, Shakira Dale worked as a freelance web developer for two years before landing their current position as a web developer at HIAS. In their current role, they are responsible for building and sending daily email campaigns through Pardot to a list of over 200,000 risk professionals.

Shakira Dale's educational career began with a certification in User Experience Design from General Assembly. Shakira followed this up with a degree in Communications Technology with a focus in Web Development from York College of the City University of New York.
