Steffani Ruiz

Steffani Ruiz has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Steffani is currently working as an Académica de asignatura at Universidad Iberoamericana León, where they teach a course on "Taller de Síntesis y Evaluación" aimed at applying students' competencies in a project with real-world applications. Steffani also applies a systematic methodology for the design of revinculantes business practices.

Prior to that, Steffani was a Learning Officer at HIAS, where they developed learning strategies to integrate learning behaviors in operational processes and supported capacity-building of staff in learning methods. Steffani also coordinated with different departments to identify and implement best practices in organizational learning.

Steffani has also worked as a Docente en línea at Universidad Abierta y a Distancia de México (UnADM), and as an Asesora de Planificación, Monitoreo, Evaluación, Rendición de Cuentas y Aprendizaje PMERA at Cruz Roja Mexicana I.A.P.

Steffani has experience in the hospitality industry as well, having worked as an Account Manager and Operations Business Manager/Onboarding Manager at OYO. In these roles, they ensured adherence to OYO standards and policies and managed all aspects of hotel operations, including guest and employee satisfaction, financial performance, and sales and revenue generation.

Furthermore, Steffani has served as a Profesora at Red de Universidades del Sureste (UNIREU), a Presentadora del programa “Turismo e Innovación social” at Ires y Venires TV en Línea, and a Coordinadora de Monitoreo y Evaluación at Heifer International.

Steffani has also worked as a Profesor universitario a tiempo parcial at Universidad Anáhuac de Oaxaca and in a role focused on Monitoreo y evaluación de proyecto at GISnet SC.

Steffani Ruiz pursued their education chronologically as follows:

From 2009 to 2013, they attended Universidad Anáhuac, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Tourism Administration.

In 2014, they enrolled in Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, where they completed a Master's degree in Economic Development and International Cooperation between 2014 and 2016.

During 2016, they took part in an investigative stay at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, focusing on Sustainability and Tourism.

In 2020 to 2021, they pursued a Superior Diploma and Updating Program in University Teaching (PADOC) - Clacso at the University of Buenos Aires.

Continuing their educational journey, Steffani Ruiz is currently undergoing a specialization in Teaching Social Sciences at Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales, which began in 2021 and is expected to conclude in 2022.
