Vjosa Tashi

Vjosa Tashi started working as a Program Officer at YMCA International in January 2019 and held this role until January 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, where they served as a Quality Control Coordinator from January 2017 to January 2019. Before taking on this position, they were an English Second Language Coordinator from November 2015 to January 2017 and an After school teacher from October 2015 to January 2017. Most recently, Vjosa Tashi joined HIAS in March 2022 as a PC Program Manager.

Vjosa Tashi completed their Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from the University of Houston in 2011. During the same period, they also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the same university. Vjosa went on to pursue a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Webster University Geneva, which they successfully completed in 2015.

In April 2021, Vjosa Tashi obtained a certificate in Global Mental Health: Trauma and Recovery from Harvard Medical School.
