David Latva has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. David is currently working as a Software Engineer at Hiatus, where they focus on feature architecture and implementation for the financial management app. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Engineer at CafeMedia, where they worked on internal tools and the ad code served to billions of impressions. David also has experience as a Lead Software Developer at Auto-Owners Insurance, where they modernized their life insurance application and underwriting process. Previously, they worked as a Consultant at X by 2, LLC, where they played various roles across multiple projects in the insurance and healthcare industries. David also worked as a Software Developer at ABC Warehouse, where they led a full stack overhaul of their ecommerce website. Additionally, they have internship experience at New World Systems, where they contributed to the design and development of a mobile app for public safety officers.

David Latva completed their Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a major in Computer Science from the University of Michigan College of Engineering. David attended the college from 2012 to 2016.
