Jose Contreras

Jose Contreras has a diverse range of work experience in the field of information technology. Jose currently serves as the Director of Infrastructure & Operations at HID Global since September 2018. Prior to this, they worked at Crossmatch, where they held the position of Director of Information Technology from February 2015 to September 2018. During their time at Crossmatch, Jose focused on migrating to the cloud and strengthening the core foundation to support mergers and acquisitions. Jose also served as the Corporate Network Manager from November 2004 to February 2015, managing the IT infrastructure for the company's global sites.

Before joining Crossmatch, Jose was the Owner and President of Computech Solutions, Inc., where they specialized in IT infrastructure design and implementation for small to medium-sized businesses. Jose also had experience as a wholesaler of IT software and hardware products, exporting to South America.

Jose's early work experience includes working at CX2 Technologies as a Network IT Manager, application developer, and RF Engineer. During this time, they managed the IT infrastructure and developed business applications for customer billing, management of tower sites, and FCC spectrum.

Overall, Jose Contreras has a strong background in IT management, infrastructure design, and implementation, with emphasis on cloud migration, mergers and acquisitions support, and business continuity and disaster recovery.

Jose Contreras attended Palm Beach State College from 1992 to 1994, studying Computer Science.
