Bob Hendren has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Bob started their career in 2007 as an Assistant Stage Manager for Avenue Q First National Tour, where they were responsible for coordinating artistic elements of the show and managing technicians in multiple cities. In 2009, they worked as a Puppet & Props Technician for Cirque du Soleil until 2012. From 2006 to 2013, Bob worked as an Agency Producer for Sawyer Insurance Agency. Currently, they are the Managing Director - Business Insurance & Risk Management at Higginbotham, an employee-owned insurance and financial services broker.

Bob Hendren holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Theater, magna cum laude, from Adelphi University. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications in the field of insurance, including being a Licensed Risk Manager from the Texas Department of Insurance in 2021 and a Surplus Lines Insurance Agent from the same institution in 2020. Bob is also a Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS) certified by the International Risk Management Institute, Inc. in 2016, and a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) certified by The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research in 2015. Moreover, they have achieved the designations of CLCS, Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist, and PLCS, Personal Lines Coverage Specialist, awarded by the National Underwriter Company in 2012.
