Andy Macleod has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Andy is currently employed as the Head of Levelling Up Fund Projects at High Life Highland, where they oversee projects aimed at driving environmental, cultural, and economic regeneration in Inverness. Prior to this role, Andy served as the Head of Outdoor Activities & Facilities at the same organization.
Before joining High Life Highland, Andy worked at Highland Council for many years in various managerial positions, including Community Learning & Leisure Manager, Area Leisure Facilities Manager, Leisure Facilities Manager, and Assistant Manager. During their time at Highland Council, they were responsible for managing leisure facilities and organizing events throughout the region.
Andy also has a background in professional football. Andy played for Fortuna Sittard from 1991 to 1993 and Aberdeen Football Club from 1985 to 1991.
