Lena Ashley

Lena Ashley M.Ed currently serves as the 2nd/3rd Combo Lead Teacher at High Meadows School since August 2023, where responsibilities include fostering critical thinking skills, supporting social skill development, creating a nurturing classroom environment, and enhancing parent-teacher collaboration. Previously, Lena held the position of 1st Grade Teacher at Fulton County Schools from August 2022 to May 2023, where communication with students, parents, and colleagues was prioritized to support learning objectives. Prior experience includes being a 2nd Grade Teacher at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (August 2019 - July 2022) and a Substitute Teacher at Guilford County Schools (November 2018 - May 2019). Educational credentials include a Master of Education in Literacy and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from High Point University, along with a high school diploma from Holy Innocents' Episcopal School.
