Setareh Shekarsaraei

Setareh Shekarsaraei has a diverse range of work experience. Setareh is currently working as an Applications Scientist at High Q Technologies, starting in January 2022. Prior to this, they were an R&D Analytical Chemist at Bimeda from January 2021 to January 2022.

Before joining Bimeda, they worked at Diteba as an Analytical Chemist from February 2019 to January 2021. In this role, they gained experience and knowledge in performing laboratory analysis for raw materials, in-process, and finished products. Setareh developed and validated In Vitro Release Testing (IVRT) methods and analyzed chromatograms using Empower chromatography software.

Additionally, Setareh worked as a Researcher and Teaching Assistant at Brock University from May 2016 to December 2018. Setareh conducted research using Electron Paramagnetic Resonance Spectroscopy on Photosystem I Reaction Centers. Setareh also served as a teaching assistant for various courses, providing support and guidance to students.

Through their various roles, Setareh has developed expertise in analytical chemistry, laboratory analysis, method development and validation, and spectroscopy.

Setareh Shekarsaraei holds a Master's degree in Biophysical Chemistry from Brock University, which they earned from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed another Master's degree in Physical Chemistry at Tarbiat Modares University from 2011 to 2013. Setareh'sundergraduate studies were in Applied Chemistry at the University of Guilan, where they obtained their Bachelor's degree from 2007 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Setareh has obtained several certifications. Setareh completed a Critical Thinking course from the PMI® Registered Education Provider in January 2023. In December 2022, they received a certification in Business English from Seneca College. Setareh also obtained a certification in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education from the Brock University, Center for Pedagogical Innovation, although the specific month of completion is not provided.
