Austin Erben

Austin Erben has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Austin began their career as a Hockey Operations Manager at Water City Roller Hockey, where they managed staff, assigned duties, and ensured customer and employee satisfaction. Austin then worked as a Computer Science Research Intern and Teacher's Assistant at Naval Postgraduate School, where they assisted in thesis research, conducted field studies, and facilitated learning in Python and Networking courses.

Following this, Austin joined Varsity Tutors as a Programming Tutor, where they provided guidance and instruction to students. Austin then transitioned to SD Wheel as a Data Developer, where they set up and automated inventory connections, created reporting tools for data-driven decision-making, and resolved bugs. Austin later became the Data Developer Lead, overseeing the development of company-wide reporting tools.

Austin then joined Society Insurance as a Data Developer, where they maintained and improved SSIS packages, created and maintained reports using Power BI datasets and stored procedures, and developed documentation for new hires. Currently, they are working at High Touch Technologies as a Data Engineer II.

Throughout their career, Austin has demonstrated their technical skills in programming languages such as PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Arduino, C, C++, and Python. Austin has also gained experience in data analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI and SSRS.

Austin Erben completed their Associate of Science degree in Mathematics and Physics at Monterey Peninsula College from 2015 to 2018. Austin then pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2018 to 2020.
