Alex remembers exactly when he fell in love with all things media: it was the semester his Houston high school guidance counselor enrolled him in a TV production class. Learning to produce and edit content inspired him to study communications at Texas Southern University. His early jobs were in TV news and talk show production. Then he worked as a communications specialist with the County Board of Supervisors and the Department of Parks and Recreation in L.A.
