Robert Nitsch

Governor at Highbury College

Robert Nitsch is the current Governor at Highbury College. Robert has previously worked as the General Officer Commanding for Support Command with the British Army from August 2013 to June 2015. In this role, they were responsible for civil-military engagement for the Army as well as support to and the maintenance of the British Army garrisons in the UK, Germany, Brunei and Nepal.

Nitsch has also served as Colonel Commandant to the Education and Training Services in 2013, where they were responsible for Army Ice Sports. Prior to their work with the British Army, Nitsch worked at the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education.

Robert Nitsch has a MSc in Defence Technology from Cranfield University, a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Southampton, and a Defence Higher Command and Staff Course from the MOD. Robert is also certified in CEng, FIMechE, and FCIPD.
