Sj Janjua

SJ Janjua is an accomplished educator and consultant with a robust background in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) initiatives. As the Founder and Consultant at Empowered for Equity Consulting, LLC, since June 2023, SJ designs and facilitates workshops for K-12 schools and created the annual LGBTQ+ Teacher Cohort. Previously, at Higher Achievement, SJ has advanced from Development Associate to Development Manager, enhancing DEIB efforts within the development team and ensuring accessibility procedures for events. Additionally, SJ has held roles in teacher training and English education across various educational institutions, alongside experiences in event planning and donor relations. SJ holds a Master's degree in International Education from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from Oklahoma State University.
