David Rice

David Rice is the current Executive Director at Higher Education Works. Prior to this, they worked as the State Capital Correspondent for the Winston-Salem Journal from January 1986 to December 2006. David has been a champion for education throughout their career and continues to fight for affordable higher education for all.

David Rice's educational career began when they completed their A.B. in English and Economics from Duke University.

David Rice reports to Emma Battle, President & CEO. David Rice works with Debra Davis Rezeli - Engagement Director, Jennie Hayman - Development Consultant, and Tricia Daisley - Development Director.
