Darren Reis

Darren Reis is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in systems engineering and software development, currently serving as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Higher Ground LLC, where efforts focus on the development of a second-generation handheld satellite communicator. Previous roles include contributions as a Software Engineer at Delphi, where traffic sign recognition technology was developed, and as a Localization Intern at Nissan Motor Corporation, where a localization framework for autonomous vehicles was created. Additionally, Darren Reis has engaged in various engineering positions encompassing embedded systems, electrical engineering, and leadership in vehicle development through roles in collegiate racing and academic assistance.
