Helen Wood

Helen Wood possesses extensive experience in higher education, particularly in student success and academic affairs. Currently serving as a Student Success Academy Mentor at the Higher Learning Commission since 2015, Helen has supported institutions in enhancing factors that promote student success. Additionally, as the Assistant Director of Academic Affairs at Rush University Graduate College from 2019 to 2023, Helen focused on academic support services and strategic planning. Previous roles include leadership positions at DeVry University, Northwestern University, Hiram College, Purdue University, and National Louis University, where Helen effectively managed faculty, directed student services, and developed key programs. Helen holds a Doctor of Education from The University of Sheffield, a Master's degree from National Louis University, and a Bachelor's degree from The College of Wooster.
