Charlene Liu

Charlene Liu, CMP, DMCP is currently working as the HEUG Director of Meetings and Events at Higher Logic since May 2022. Charlene is also serving as a Board Member at the St. Louis National Customer Advisory Board from December 2022. In their previous roles, they worked as a Senior Meeting Planner at NCCI from August 2015 to May 2022. Prior to that, they were the Director of Operations at Cream of the Crop Events & Logistics from December 2009 to July 2015. Charlene also has experience as a National Sales Manager at Meeting Dynamics & Dynamic Productions in 2008 and as a Corporate Assistant at ME Productions in 2007.

Charlene Liu, CMP, DMCP has a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, and Recreation from the University of Florida, which they obtained between 2002 and 2007. Recently, in 2021 and 2022, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Meeting & Event Management from San Diego State University. In addition to their academic achievements, Charlene has obtained several certifications including Destination Management Certified Professional (DMCP) from the Association of Destination Management Executives International, a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt from NCCI, and Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) from the Events Industry Council.
