Pete Bishop

Pete Bishop currently serves as a Facilities Maintenance Specialist at Highland Park Baptist Church since August 2017 and as a Manager at Encore Upscale Resale since January 2022, where responsibilities include managing volunteers and ensuring a supportive environment. With extensive experience in youth ministry, Pete has held various roles including Local Coordinator for the National Network of Youth Ministries in Detroit since 2001 and City Life Director for Detroit Metro Youth for Christ from 1999 to 2016. Additional positions include Bible Teacher and Spiritual Life Coordinator at Westside Christian Academy and Co-founder of the Converge Detroit Network. Pete's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Spiritual Formation and Discipleship from Moody Theological Seminary and a BA in Christian Thought/Youth Studies from William Tyndale College, among other qualifications in youth ministry.
