Inglis Lyon

Aberdeen-born Inglis was previously the managing director of Stagecoach East and became HIAL’s managing director in May 2005.

Inglis completed an apprenticeship with a garage in Inverness before gaining an honors degree in transport technology from Belfast’s University of Ulster.

He joined Stagecoach, where he held a variety of management positions, initially in depot management in Chorley, Bolton, and Carlisle, before moving into senior management. He held the posts of operations director in Cumbria and Managing Director of Stagecoach divisions throughout England and also in Africa.
