Brian Wise

Brian Wise is an experienced forestry and open space technician with a strong background in environmental stewardship and team leadership. Currently serving as Forestry Technician II at Highlands Ranch Metro District since August 2021, responsibilities include maintaining 2,650 acres of open space and overseeing 35 miles of soft-surface trails. Previously, as Team Leader for AmeriCorps NCCC, Brian led teams in significant projects, including administering COVID-19 vaccinations in New York. Earlier experiences include leading disaster response teams and engaging in trail and ecological projects with Northwest Youth Corps, as well as managing park operations for Elmhurst Park District, where maintenance responsibilities covered 460 acres and eight miles of trails.
